Si è tenuto ieri l’evento con il quale sono stati presentati i nuovi Nexus 6P e la nuova generazione di Nexus 5, ma alcuni utenti si chiedono quale sia il futuro software per determinati device lanciati sul mercato anni fa. Ad esempio, Artem Russakovskii (personaggio vicino al mondo Google), esclude categoricamente che il Nexus 4 possa ricevere l’aggiornamento del sistema operativo Android Marshmallow.
Questo quanto dichiarato su Google Plus:
“In case some of you are still worrying about it, yes, the Nexus 7 2013 will get Marshmallow.
N7 2012 and N4 (and most likely N10) still will not, as we’ve previously reported several times. You shouldn’t have expected it anyway, given how old they are. It’s not always about whether they could physically run it but how much effort it would be for the engineering team”.
